  I bought this lot of rough when I first got started almost 28 years ago. It was dark in the rough and it is dark now !!! I sent this lot of rough to Sri Lanka in 2001 to have them cut it. It is very saturated material but still natural sapphires. I have no clue if they were heated or not... It is material you can use for inexpensive silver or base metal jewelry and still have a natural sapphire .. Have fun !
