  This is the last of the saturated natural blue sapphires I have in inventory from when I sold to the trade. It is a rich blue but clean; it was re-cut and tested by me to fit a calibrated 8x6 mount. It is a basic heat only gem sapphire. If you like saturated colors this is a lovely rich blue gem with no internal issues.. This gem was re-cut by me from a 2.1 carat chipped gem purchased in a lot of 10 others back in 2000. The two nicest ones went to the lab back in 2005 and both came back as basic heat only. They were all bought from a highly reputable dealer in NY.
