  This gem was re-cut by me from a 1.77 carat windowed gem I bought in a large parcel of poorly cut gems from Tanzania. This gem has good light return and is a pastel blue; it has clear type crystal inclusions and a small bubble under the table. The gemstone has good light return and a pleasing light blue body color. In real life one foot from you eye you really see no inclusions and do see light blue and very good brilliance and light return. Nice chance to get an untreated natural sapphire with a pleasing blue and brilliance for less than the rough would cost today.. If it were a bad stone I would say so... In some lighting it shows more blue than others; but I consider it pastel to light blue in most lighting conditions.
