  This gem was re-cut from a 3.52 carat windowed gem I got from my rough dealer in Tanzania in 2019. It was part of a large parcel of unheated sapphires cut in his cutting house. It had a huge window. This is one of those color shift gems that has that glowing presence due to the rutile silkiness. It is a very nice size and it does not perform well for the camera as it looks much better in person. So I guess it is a camera shy gem... No treatment in any way and a very nice gem for the budget minded collector of natural gems. Most everyone asks why my prices are so low compared to others which are similar in size, color, and clarity. I cut more stones than most and I pass along the deals my contacts give to me. My motto has been and always will be; "I do not charge more than I am willing to pay for a gem". That is it; nothing is hidden; not even the inclusions.
