  This gem was re-cut by me from a 3.28 carat windowed gem I got in a parcel from Tanzania this past spring 2019. It is a color shifting gem. AGL will not give that report and they Now have changed their rules so much in the last 3 years as they do not even give color change status on pastel or lightly saturated gem sapphires any longer. Sad but true... even when they are 100% color change they still refuse... I had a nice debate with them as they said they never did and I had to send them some with their reports that they did 3 years ago; and when I did that it ticked them off; they changed their tune again and said they did not do it any longer. So IF you have a medium to light tone color change anything; send it to GIA or another lab as AGL said they will not give the report for such a gem as they will just call it brown.... Sad when a accredited lab will not report what a gem is any longer??? Oh well you just have to laugh sometimes; this gem is shifty; a little on the peach yellow inside and a greenish yellow outside... I fully test all gems but on large parcels I will always send 4 to 6 gems to a good lab to get their opinion and this is what I did. All so far are as my friend in Tanzania said; all unheated...
