  This gem was re-cut by me from a 2.21 carat windowed gem bought in 1997. I do not know why the photo does not show the true clarity of the gem but it is far better looking in person than the photos... I think it must have fogged up from touching my hand as it is a very reflective gem... The gem has had no treatments in any way. It is close to an 8x6 mounting size and it truly is a brilliant and striking gem spinel. It will surely make a very fine ring or pendant.
