  This gem was cut by me from a 7.3 carat alluvial piece of tourmaline rough bought in 2000. It is a vivid green and not olive and not dark at all; it was worthy of a true brilliant cut. It will make a very lively ring or pendant... I do not think it will have a problem going in a 9 x 7 four prong mount. No treatment in any way,... The price of good rough has gone CRAZY !!! Rough to cut a gem like this is 130+ for the rough...
