  This gem was cut by me from a 6.88 carat piece of rough bought in 2000. It was a shallow piece of rough and would not allow a brilliant design so I mixed it up with a modified keel pavilion. It really worked in the gems favor as it was almost a bi-color tourmaline and cutting like this did not allow the colors to mix and create something that may be an unwanted muted color. This way you see both colors on their own; a nice pink red and a nice orange peach. Neat gem... No treatment.
