This gem has a little brother that will be listed soon. The gem crystal this gem was cut from weighed 56.5 carats; you can see the zoning in the photos. We documented everything about these as it was a once in a lifetime adventure...<br />\r\nThis gem is huge for a North Carolina emerald and the largest one we cut from this parcel. Grey will have to take credit for cutting this one and it was very well done... The gem is just lovely inside or in outside lighting. Totally natural; no enhancements; straight from nature to our machines. I do not think we will get many if any that will render a gem this large. Truly for the collector. This also dispels all rumors that all North Carolina Emeralds have a white core... Enough said ...Marked down for sale...
